but a few years, the versatile and talented designer Ricarda Manuela
Hofmann rose with her lifestyle label Ricarda M. to become the figurehead
of the German Home and Online Shopping market. The self-made business
woman owes her continuously growing success mainly to her unrivalled
feeling for international trends, her outstanding talent, and her unequalled
personality. Both parents have been working in the cosmetics branch,
this strongly influenced Ricarda Manuela Hofman as a child. Born in
Ludwigsburg on November 28, 1965, she discovered her love and sense
for exclusive beauty products and the latest fashion trends in the earliest
childhood. From 1983 to 1992, she ambitiously laid the foundation for
her sensational professional career working in senior positions as sales
and training director in the fields of PR and Marketing at globally
renowned cosmetics companies such as Fabergé, Elizabeth Arden and Guerlain.
Her wealth of experience and her unique talent of successfully contributing
new impulses to product design and brand positioning helped the skilled
beauty expert greatly expand the family enterprise over the years 1993
Motivated by her desire to offer customers highgrade lifestyle products
directly and at attractive prices, in 1998 Ricarda Manuela Hofmann made
her dream of her own company come true.
She set up Ricarda M. Vertriebs GmbH. As a first-line woman in the still
young and emerging teleshopping market, she was a true pioneer and paved
the sales channel teleshopping for many stars to sell their products
following her example.
That year, the market launch of her own innovative nail care line Ruby Crystal on the Home shopping channel HOT, today called HSE24, exceeded all sales forecasts. One sales coup followed the other - even after her relocation in 2006 from HSE24 to the teleshopping channel QVC. Ricarda M. expanded in close cooperation with QVC her beauty and lifestyle product line. The manifold brand of Ricarda M. became the most successful lifestyle label of teleshopping.
In August 2011 Ricarda M. got back with a sensational comeback to her adopted home Munich and to the teleshopping channel HSE24, where all began. Every product: a bestseller. Ricarda M. as a brand and as person: cult.
